Courchevel has the reputation for being the world's best ski resort. Immaculate pistes, superbly interlinked skiing on the vast 3 Valleys ski area amidst beautiful scenery are just some of its features. Add to this an astounding range of bars, restaurants, chic boutiques and nightspots and it's no wonder that Courchevel is so highly rated. The three villages of 1550, 1650 and 1850 are linked by a free bus service (with lift pass) and have a variety of ski-lifts.

Courchevel 1850 has lots of nightlife to offer, a free bus runs till late linking all the areas of Courchevel. The many restaurants are typically French though you will find international dishes as well many lively bars. Popular bars are Kalico, Bergerie and Bar Equipe.	• 3-course meal from approx. €27 • Fondue evenings around €34 (meat or cheese) including wine and dessert • Crêpes from €6 • La Bateau Ivre, Le Chabichou, Le Chalet des Pierres, L'Eterlou, Le Montagne and Le Bistro du Praz, all of which serve a wide selection of French cuisine.
